As Cobb sets out to sovle an impossible crime and trap a murderer loose in a very encolsed space, such distractions as a abudding love affair, a second killing, and a hunted television set intervene. KILLED ON THE ROCKS offers the sort of good old fashioned "country-house" plotting that will make a mystery tradtionalist sigh with pleasure.
